VENOM 4: KING IN BLACK

VENOM 4: KING IN BLACK (2025) – Official Trailer Review | Tom Hardy & Dwayne Johnson

The Venom saga takes its darkest and most ambitious turn yet with Venom 4: King in Black (2025), and the official trailer promises a cosmic-level showdown unlike anything we’ve seen in the franchise so far.

Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock/Venom, this time facing a threat that makes all past enemies look small in comparison. The trailer introduces Dwayne Johnson as Knull, the god of the symbiotes—a towering, terrifying presence who descends upon Earth with an army of living darkness. From the very first glimpse, Johnson’s intimidating screen presence and booming voice make him a perfect embodiment of the villain.

The trailer is drenched in ominous visuals: symbiote dragons sweeping across city skylines, entire armies consumed by living shadows, and Venom pushed to his absolute limits. Hardy’s performance once again balances raw intensity with dark humor, though this time the stakes feel much heavier—Earth’s survival hangs in the balance.

Action sequences look massive, with Venom leaping across collapsing skyscrapers, armies of symbiotes clashing in brutal combat, and an epic Venom vs. Knull battle teased in flashes of thunder and shadow. The scale feels closer to a full-on apocalyptic war than a street-level antihero story.

What’s especially exciting is how the trailer hints at Venom’s reluctant role as humanity’s last line of defense. For a character born from chaos and violence, the irony of becoming Earth’s savior gives the film an intriguing emotional weight.

With Hardy’s gritty intensity, Johnson’s powerhouse villainy, and a story that dives deep into the mythos of the symbiotes, Venom 4: King in Black looks set to be the darkest, most epic installment of the franchise yet. Fans of both Marvel and monster mayhem are in for an electrifying ride.
