Plot Summary
20 years have passed since the O’Connell family last confronted ancient evil. Now living quietly in England, Rick and Evelyn are dragged back into danger when their son Alex unearths a cursed relic during an expedition in Mesopotamia—the resting place of Princess Zahra, a forgotten goddess-queen who was erased from history for attempting to raise the dead to overthrow the gods.
When Zahra awakens, the sands of time begin to unravel. Plagues return. Ancient creatures walk the Earth. And time itself begins collapsing, pulling forgotten empires into the present.
To stop her, the O’Connells must reunite and journey across The River of Souls, confront the spirits of their past, and face their final mummy.
