Worship music is playing and seats are dwindling as tens of thousands of supporters pack into the service.
• Trump administration: President Donald Trump and members of his Cabinet will speak at the service, prompting extremely tight security. Kirk had a direct line to the president and was a personal friend of many Trump officials.
• Outpouring of grief: Erika Kirk, who is taking the helm at her late husband’s organization, Turning Point USA, will also speak. Kirk has said she’s anguished at the loss of a loving husband and father and has vowed to continue his work.
